Can I have implants with Breast Reduction surgery?

Question:Your Questions Answered by the Surgeons at Aurora Clinics

Due to weight gain over the years my breasts have become droopy and large. I am 54 years of age and the bottoms of my breasts now reach my waist.

Dropping from 230lbs to 105lbs has also added to their demise so I am seriously considering breast surgery to improve their appearance. Since they are very large at 32GG, I would prefer a reduction in size to perhaps 32F.

Is it possible to have breast reduction surgery along with implants to pan out the loss of volume and provide lift? If so, I would like  to reduce the size of my bust to an F cup. I would also like my nipples to become slimmer and lifted.

Would it be possible to have all of this surgery completed in one go? If so, how much will it cost?

Answer:

Thank you very much for your enquiry. We think that you would benefit from breast reduction surgery without implants. With this treatment, the size of the areolas  (the skin around the nipples) is reduced, the nipples are raised and the breasts are made smaller.

As you already have a significant bust, we would generally advise against implants, as their main function is to increase volume. For more information please take a look at our breast reduction surgery pages. Here, you will be able to view videos of our surgeons performing the operation and browse through testimonials of people who have had similar surgery.
