Surgeon's comment
This lady had a slight concern about her heavy eyelids which were heavier on the right and also loss of volume and fullness in the lower part of her face. A standard 2 stitch MACS facelift was performed combined with an Upper Blepharoplasty procedure. The photos are taken at 6 weeks following surgery, showing a rejuvenated appearance of the upper eyelids and a pleasing result from the MACS facelift procedure. At surgery fat transfer was also used to restore the volume under the corner of the mouth which is a typical occurrence with time. The photographs show well located scars under the natural crease of the ear. The scar will be expected to fade in the subsequent weeks following surgery. In a MACS facelift there is no significant scarring behind the ear, and in vast majority of cases, people are able to wear their hair up following the MACS lift procedure.
