Amanda Bynes in marriage and more surgery proclamations on Twitter
American actor Amanda Bynes has once again hit the headlines for discussing plastic surgery via her Twitter feed.
Also disclosing apparent upcoming nuptials, earlier this week the star tweeted:
“I Need To Have Surgery To Look Beautiful For The Man I’m In Love With So I Feel Comfortable With The Way I Look When We Get Married.” (sic)
Though she doesn’t reveal who the man in question is, reports have so far focused on her apparent commitment to and pursuit of surgery and the subsequent concern for the star that this is raising.
Prior to her bombshell that she is soon to be married she tweeted several times about having plastic surgery, all within the space of a few days.
On 28 June she tweeted three times on the subject, with slightly worrying veracity:
“I Love Surgery” was followed by ”I Plan On Having Surgery On My Whole Face Straight Up”, later “I’m Having My Next Surgery Tomorrow” (sic).
The following day she expressed regret that her surgeon was unable to carry it out that day.
It’s not the first time the 27-year-old has sparked curiosity in this way. Earlier in the year we reported she had tweeted before and after photos of her surgical removal of supposed webbing between her eyes and her nose. Given that it was barely noticeable and certainly no impingement on her beauty this too raised questions over her welfare.
The ’What I Like About You’ star’s behaviour has become increasingly erratic in general, including her odd behaviour online. She has supposedly been misusing drugs and alcohol, including receiving a DUI (driving under the influence) and becoming estranged from her parents.
Although some fans insist the media is merely creating a storm over nothing, others are reportedly concerned that she may have deeper psychological issues that need addressing.
