This short surgical video shows an earlobe repair after it had been stretched. Mr Richards explains the key moments to the camera briefly, having the first clip after the earlobe area after it was already removed. The stretch was about an inch, or 25mm which is the common unit of measurement for earlobe stretching. The technique used to correct is removing the area, and then joining up the earlobe to leave a “T” shaped scar. Before it is stitched up it is held in position so we can see how it will be sewn up.

The sewing up part is skipped, and we see the end result, with Mr Richards asking our patient a few questions on how it went and what they thought of the procedure after just having it done. Our patient was pleased and overall very happy with the results.
