Breast Implant Removal and Replacement – in a patient’s own words

Breast implant removal and replacementWe’ve just received a lovely written testimonial from a lady who had breast implant removal and replacement with us, and thought it’d be nice to share it here. Here’s what she had to say… “

With nothing to hide”

“After months of research I decided to visit Aurora Clinics in Northampton. I booked with Aurora Clinics Founder as I had previously experienced two lots of defective implants and a very poor patient care service at another clinic.

From the moment I arrived the patient care service was excellent. Reception staff had time to talk through the paperwork and went out of their way to be helpful. Aurora Clinics Founder and nurse Aggie Oakley were professional and I saw them both throughout the surgery.

At the clinic I previously attended I saw the patient coordinator only once and there was no follow up.

I wanted PIP implants exchanged; cosmetically they had always looked awful. This wasn’’t me being vain. As soon as Aggie saw she knew the profile did not suit my height or frame. And she articulated what shape and size I should have had. I knew from that first discussion she was right and made my mind up.

You can look natural with implants. Previously from the other clinic it was a “’one size fits all”’ attitude. At Aurora I wasn’’t rushed into deciding and had time to think about it.

Aggie did the sizing and I was able to have a choice of implant of a very high quality standard. I chose the Nagor because they felt natural. At 44 years old I wanted age-appropriate breasts!

We arranged an appointment to see a nurse for the pre-op assessment. Even the surgical bra is provided. The day of surgery at Aurora Clinics in Northampton (The Three Shires) I had Aggie reassuring me there at all times.

All the nurses were excellent. Communication with Aurora Clinics Founder and Aggie was excellent. In the anaesthetic room you have your “Guardian Angel” Aggie with you.

After surgery I had no pain at all and no drains. The nurses were fantastic, doing observations etc. Nothing was too much trouble – the care had been excellent. Once settled Aggie did the rounds” and explained thoroughly about the how the procedure went.

My overnight stay with the staff was first-class and in the morning Aggie discharged me with medication to take home. Everything had been thought through, including medication and follow up appointments.

I am very pleased with the results – fantastic breasts that are natural looking and feeling. I have enjoyed the experience and can have only praise for Aurora Clinics.”
