Model and teenage wife of US actor Doug Hutchison comes 6th in Celebrity Big Brother

Aspiring model and actress Courtney Stodden was booted out of the Channel 5 reality show on Wednesday night, coming 6th out of 12 celebrity housemates.

It was a double eviction and she was soon followed by a pirouetting Louie Spence, choreographer and former star of reality show Pineapple Dance Studios.

19-year-old Courtney was little known in the UK before her stint in the Big Brother house, however had already become a TV personality in the States, having gained notoriety for her marriage to actor Doug Hutchison.

The reason it created such a stir was the huge age gap between the pair – Courtney was a mere 16 years old when she wed then-51-year-old Doug.

The two have faced criticism for the unlikely union, however have nonetheless kept up their media profile including appearing on Couples Therapy, a reality show in the States focusing on relationship therapy for celebrity couples.

Courtney has also been the subject of many plastic surgery rumours, appearing regularly in newspaper and magazine headlines. She has been open about her breast augmentation surgery however has denied any other work, including a suspected nose job.

Actor Doug was waiting in the audience for his wife’’s exit, holding a bunch of balloons.

The four remaining contestants who will battle it out on Friday’’s final include Mario Falcone from The Only Way is Essex and Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore, in a face-off between the geographical docu-soaps. They will be joined by Loose Woman Carol McGiffin and former Corrie actress Vicky Entwistle.
