Amanda Bynes ‘posts’ Nose Job on Twitter
Proving the younger generation have fewer qualms over sharing their plastic surgery stories, American child star Amanda Bynes admitted her own rhinoplasty in the most thoroughly modern way - via Twitter.
The actress, now 27, decided to publicise her nose job so that the media would use recent photographs instead of older ones as she feels she looks so much better now. She said:
“I wasn’t going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don’t want old photos used anymore! I’m so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop? I will never look like that again!”
Rather than changing the shape or size of her nose the reason for her visit to the plastic surgeon was actually to remove webbed skin between the top of her nose and her eyes:
“I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence.”
Despite this there have been reports that those close to her have been worried about the stars well-being, following erratic behaviour that included shaving half her head and posting almost nude photos of herself online. She was even estranged from her parents for a period although they are said to be patching things up and are now communicating again.
Currently working as an actress and fashion designer, Bynes rose to fame as a child actress in the mid 1990s, starring in shows such as All That and The Amanda Show.
