This video is part of our Breast Enlargement FAQ series and discusses the durability and consistency of breast implants. Do they lose shape and volume over time? This is a question we get during nearly every consultation. The answer to this should be no, and when you get one of the top end implants from a leading manufacturer such as Nagor, the implants should stand the test of time. Sadly, lesser quality implants do lose shape and volume. The most notable implants that lose shape and size were the infamous PIPs. PIP implants ruptured a lot more than regular implants too, which is why when the implant just deflated through gel bleed, it was seen as a PIP that was in good condition. In reality, they weren’t in good condition, but it seemed to be the case just because so many were rupturing, so, by comparison, they were seen as implants in good condition.
