This video series features the questions we have received about stretched and split earlobes. Stretched earlobes are increasingly common in today’s society, therefore correction of stretches is also becoming more common.
We get loads of questions from patients, some of which we simply answer, but the most frequent, we like to turn into information videos for you, so we have answers to these questions within our Youtube channel and on our website which is instantly accessible.
We get asked by a lot of patients who have split or stretched earlobes if there is a method of correction which does not involve surgery. Sadly, the answer to this is no. A stretched ear may close up to a degree if you leave the stretcher out for long enough, but there is a point you will reach as it closes where it stays where it is. For complete closure and correction, the only avenue available is surgery.
