This video series features the questions we have received about stretched and split earlobes. Stretched earlobes are increasingly common in today’s society, therefore correction of stretches is also becoming more common.
We get loads of questions from patients, some of which we simply answer, but the most frequent, we like to turn into information videos for you, so we have answers to these questions within our Youtube channel and on our website which is instantly accessible.
A lot of people ask why they should have their ears closed up? From a medical standpoint there is no real reason. It has to be entirely your decision. We have had people come in to have it corrected for their chosen careers, such as being a teacher, or in the armed forces. There are other reasons too, such as simply outgrowing the phase you went through as a teenager or whenever you began stretching. Whatever the reason, it should be your decision, and something you want to do, and of course, we are very happy to help.
