This information video is another part of our OCEAN™ Breast Enlargement FAQ series and covers the topic of scarring. During our consultations, scarring is one of those things that naturally comes up, for any procedure. What a patient is looking for is a surgery in which the scarring is minimally noticeable. The OCEAN™ technique offers this, as the areola is reduced, the area underneath is where the incision is made and implant inserted. After this is done it is sewn up and the scar you are left with is simply just a peri-areola scar, which means a scar which goes around the perimeter of the areola.
The scars themselves can have medical grade tattooing applied, to blend the scar in with the shade of your areola, which will almost hide the scar completely.
