PIP Implants – What symptoms and side effects can you get from PIP implants?

This surgery information video is all about PIP implants and what adverse effects you can get if you have them. The general issues with PIPs is put down to the non-medical grade silicone within the implants, which makes patients feel unwell, get swelling and tenderness within the breast, or get an external rash.

There could well be more issues, as each patient is different, and not everyone experiences these effects, but these issues are the ones that have commonly come to our attention throughout the PIP implant infamy.

Many women still have PIP implants, some who aren’t even aware they have them, or are aware of the horrors that they can bring.
