Breast Surgery Question:
My girlfriend has had breast surgery but her nipples are way too high. The doctor told us that they cannot be lowered but we were wondering if his advice is correct. Could she have her nipples lowered and if so, would they look natural?
Breast Surgery Answer:
Thank you very much for your question. It is difficult for us to advise fully as we are not sure if your girlfriend had breast enlargement surgery or breast enlargement with uplift.
If she had breast enlargement without any uplift surgery it is unlikely that her nipples have been raised so they will remain at their natural height.
If, however, she had breast uplift surgery, the nipples may have been raised too high.
If this is the case it may be difficult to lower them as the distance between the nipples and the neck remain constant and will not be improved unless extra tissue is added in.
It is difficult to give an accurate assessment without seeing the breasts, so it may be worthwhile for your girlfriend to either send us a photograph, or book a free appointment to speak to one of our Surgeons.
Best Wishes,
